Captain's BookPractitioner Management
Each practitioner has a profile, a panel account and a calendar. The profile feeds the Our Team page on the customer site; the panel account lets practitioners manage their own appointments and clients. When a practitioner leaves, their clients are transferred to another practitioner or the account is deactivated with records kept intact.

Key capabilities
Active / inactive and publish status
Inactive practitioners cannot be chosen for new appointments; with 'Published' off, the practitioner is hidden from the site but keeps working in the panel.
The practitioner's own panel account
Practitioners activate their account by email verification, set a password and sign in; their calendar, upcoming appointments and clients are limited to their own permissions.
Practitioner calendar
The calendar button on the practitioner row opens all their appointments in a monthly view; admins can edit the date, practitioner and therapy type from there.
Password reset link
An admin sends the practitioner a password reset email in one click; the practitioner sets a new password from the link.
Safe departure: transfer or deactivate
A check runs before deletion: if the practitioner has linked clients, either all are transferred to a chosen practitioner and the record is deleted, or the practitioner is deactivated and the clients are kept.
